About the Plenipotentiary Representative of the Russian Federation in the Council on Aviation and Use of Airspace

The MInistry of Transport of the Russian Federation referring to the note of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation dated March 7, 2025 notified the Interstate Aviation Committee that Poteshkin Vladimir Vladimirovich is authosized to represent the Russian Federation in the Council on Aviation and Use of Airspace (hereinafter referred to as the Council). From the momement of his appointment Vladimir Poteshkin will also perform the function of the Chairman of the Russian Federation in the Council.  

Recall that in accordance with the Regulations on the Council the Chairmanship in the Council is held by the member-state of the Agreement on Civil Aviation and Use of Airspace of 1991 represented by its Plenipotentiary Representative on a rotational basis for a period of three years. 

Please note that the next session of the Council is scheduled for April 24, 2025 in Moscow.
