IAC and the University of Civil Protection of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Republic of Belarus signed an Agreement on long-term cooperation

IAC and the University of Civil Protection of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Republic of Belarus signed an Agreement on long-term cooperation in educational and research activities.

The signing took place within the framework of the Second International Scientific and Practical Conference “Safety in Emergency Situations – 2024”, which took place on June 19-22, 2024 in Minsk, Republic of Belarus.

The Agreement is aimed at developing mutually beneficial cooperation in the field of civil aviation, flight safety and use of airspace. In addition, cross-sectoral cooperation is an important area, bringing together civil aviation, public health, airports, air traffic services, and airlines to share experiences and resources.

Within the framework of bilateral cooperation, it is planned to organize advanced training programs and training courses for specialists from the member states of the Agreement on Civil Aviation and Use of Airspace, aimed at training personnel responsible for flight safety and the health of air passengers.

The Agreement on long-term cooperation includes the establishment and implementation of uniform regulations to prevent threats to public health and coordinated actions in civil aviation, considering the Standards and Recommended Practices of  International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO).

IAC systematically carries out work aimed at improving the quality of training of aviation specialists of civil aviation in the states of the region. Training continues to be an important factor in achieving flight safety goals.
